Instructions for authors

Oral presentations

Each author can hold a 15 minutes long lecture that is followed by 5 minutes discussion. Keynote lectures should be 25 minutes long, and are followed by a 5 minutes discussion.

Technical instructions:

Please prepare your presentation in .ppt, .pptx (Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003-2017 format) or .pdf file. Please avoid using videos embedded in your show. If you have a video, please contact the technician in the lecture hall at latest in the break before your presentation (but preferably earlier) to test it in advance. Unless you feel it is absolutely necessary, we prefer you do not use your own notebook for the presentation. If using your own notebook is required, please contact the technical staff not later than the early morning of your presentation.

Posters

Each poster can be mounted during the whole conference. There will be, however, two poster sessions held when we ask our authors to be present in the session at their posters:

  • Poster session I.
(please check the program above to see the list of posters in this session)
    Walkaround: Monday, 12 June 2017, 18:00-20:00
  • Poster session II.
(please check the program above to see the list of posters in this session)
    Walkaround: Tuesday, 13 June 2017, 18:00-20:00

Each poster session has a walkaround with cca. 2 minutes for the author to present the poster and cca. 2 minutes for interactive discussion, the walkaround will be followed by an informal discussion in the poster area.

  • Poster mounting: Sunday, 11 June 2017, 17:00-19:30; Removal: Thursday, 15 June 2017, 08:30-12:00

Posters left on the boards after the removal deadline will be removed by the organisers.

Technical instructions:

Posters should be prepared for standard STANDING (PORTRAIT) A0 size (84 x 119 cm – 1 sqm). PLEASE DO NOT PRINT A LANDSCAPE POSTER!

The organisers provide pins to mount you poster to the board at the conference venue and they will be for your service if you need help.
