CALL for PAPERS

Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers describing original results on the topics listed above for consideration by the Technical Programme Committee.

For the ISIS-IPHOBAC Workshop oral or poster papers can be submitted.

For the ISIS-IPHOBAC Summer School only student poster papers can be submitted.

The papers have to be written in English. The authors are responsible for obtaining publication approval from their employer. All mails will be sent to the correspondence address indicated in the first page of the paper. All papers must be presented in English. No simultaneous interpretation will be available.

PREPARATION OF PAPERS

Prospective authors are kindly requested to submit the electronic version of the 4 page paper in PDF format, and the slides in PPT format, submitted via the following link.

The first page should begin with the paper title centered in capitals followed by one line space, then the authors' names, affiliations and the corresponding author's complete return address, telephone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses, followed by two line spaces before the main text. If a paper has multiple authors from different organisations, each author's name and address should be listed separately after the title. The abstract should be typed after the authors' names and affiliations.

Paper text – The paper must not exceed four pages in length including everything, title, abstract, equations, figures and references. This is followed by upload of the presentation file in PDF or PPT format. If the paper is accepted it will be printed in the archival technical digest exactly as submitted. Authors should therefore follow the formatting instructions below in preparing their papers:

For A4 (210 x 297 mm), 2 cm margins top and bottom and 2 cm margins left and right.

The main text of the paper should be formatted in one column, commencing with the abstract and concluding with numbered references in IEEE format. No fonts smaller than 10 pt should be used, and 12 pt Times New Roman font is preferred for the main text. Avoid non-standard fonts in PDF. Please do not use page numbering.

Document templates are available under DOWNLOADS.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION

Electronic versions of the papers should be sent to the meeting secretariat so as to arrive not later than 30 March 2007. Fax submissions cannot be accepted. Online submission interface is provided to manage paper uploads.

All electronic submissions will be acknowledged. Please contact the meeting secretariat if an acknowledgement is not received. Authors will be informed about the decision of the International Technical Programme Committee by 15 April 2007.

PUBLICATION

During the registration, participants will receive the programme of the Workshop and the Proceedings CD containing all full papers of the lectures. The papers of the conference will be published by the Diamond Congress Ltd.
