Call for Papers

 

We are delighted to invite you to the POMS International Conference in Budapest, Hungary, June 29-July 1, 2022. The conference will be hosted by Corvinus University of Budapest.

The theme of POMS International 2022 is ‘Resilient Networks.’

POMS seeks to extend and integrate knowledge to improve understanding and practice of production and operations management, disseminating information on POM to managers, scientists, educators, students, public and private organizations, national and local governments, and the general public, and promoting the improvement of POM and its teaching in public and private manufacturing and service organizations throughout the world. We are pleased to hold the POMS International conference in Budapest (Hungary) to outreach to the European community and any others wishing to join us in the center of Europe.

The Operations Management community is invited to submit abstracts (250 word max) to any of the tracks mentioned below by the deadline May 9th, 2022 (Monday, 1.00 PM CET). Note that employing a rolling acceptance authors will be notified about their abstract’s status within a week.

We welcome papers addressing any supply chain, operations, manufacturing, decision sciences or management topic in general, and in particular those that fit in the tracks listed below.

The Conference Chairs represent both POMS and the host organization: Amit Eynan, Vice-President for Europe (POMS) and Gyula Vastag, (Corvinus University of Budapest) are the key liaisons of the conference.

Submission dates:
  • May 9, 2022 (Monday, 1.00 PM CET) – Deadline for submission of abstracts of max 250 words
  • May 11, 2022 (Monday, 1.00 PM CET) – Notification of acceptance/rejection decision
  • May 16, 2022 (Monday, 1.00 PM CET) – Submission of final papers & early bird registration closes
