Dear Colleague,

Welcome to the homepage of the 10th European ZebraFish Meeting,  to be held in Budapest, Hungary between 3-7 July 2017.

As the largest professional meeting of 2017 for teleost model users, the conference will cover a large range of topics on zebrafish and other teleost species, from aquaculture to tissue dynamics, from the study of early organogenesis to the application of fish in chemical biology. There will be dedicated workshops to discuss the use of fish species in education, the availability of research resources, and also community sessions to tackle the relevant ethical, financial and organisational questions. (For a more details please check here.)

Situated on the banks of the Danube, with its beautiful neoclassic and art nouveau architecture, Budapest offers the perfect conference venue and tourist destination. From hot baths to ruin pubs, from handcrafted design wonders to culinary masterpieces, all at cheap prices, everyone can find something for interest. During the meeting we offer lots of programs which give you the chance to explore Budapest in different and exciting ways. Please check the details here.

During the meeting we will take stock of the rapid developments in our field during the past couple of decades and also commemorate George Streisinger, the founder of the field, who was born 90 years ago in Budapest.
